I’ve been bored over summer and I tried my hand at writing a little podcast essay about drag and gender.
It was during one of RuPaul’s first television appearances on the Geraldo Show when he quoted his famous line, “We’re all born naked and the rest is drag.”
In this podcast, I challenge RuPaul’s more recent comments which seem to contradict his original point and I investigate what this actually means with the help of Judith Butler’s gender theory.
It’s not the most perfect of podcasts but it’s my first one so enjoy!
